Ethereum: Bitcoin Core Extremely high synchronization time
As an experienced Bitcoin Core (BTC) user on a powerful game, I came across a problem that has recently been depressed. Despite the impressive specifications of my system, including a high graphics card and many RAM, the synchronization process seems to be behind other wallets.
Bitcoin Core for several months and it has always been one of the fastest synchronization wallets on my list. However, in recent days I noticed that the times of synchronization have increased significantly. Although I can manually set the wallet for synchronization every 5 minutes, some wallets take up to 30 minutes or longer to end full synchronization.
My systemic specifications
To get a better idea of what my system looks like, here is its specifications:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (four -time 3.7 GHz core)
- Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti (4 GB GDDR6)
- RAM: 16 GB DDR4 (3200 MHz)
Internet download speed
Before immersing in synchronization, I want to notice that my download speed is impressive at 115 Mb / s using a connection to the cable.
Synchronization question
As you can imagine, this high synchronization time caused me frustration. I tried to restart the Bitcoin core and portfolio settings and tested software updates or conflicts with other programs. However, it seems that no solution has worked so far.
study and comparison
To better understand what is happening, I conduct some tests and comparisons of various portfolios and synchronization times. The results are:
- My synchronized portfolio using the Bitcoin core, the average synchronization time is about 15-20 minutes.
- Most other wallets on my list, including Coinbase, Kraken and Electrum, have a much shorter synchronization time from 1-5 minutes.
Possible causes
After some digging, I identified some possible causes of high synchronization time:
1
Network overload : My internet connection is not particularly overloaded, but it is possible that other users have problems.
- Configuration of the portfolio : Bitcoin Core is a default setting that can slow down synchronization time, especially when using many GPU processors.
3
cache and indexing questions : Some wallets may have problems with cache or indexing memory that may cause delay during the synchronization process.
Application
While my system specifications seem to match other high -height games, the problem of synchronization caused reduced headaches. I am not sure what causes delay, but I tried to adjust the various settings and configurations to check if it solves the problem.
If you have similar problems with synchronization in your system, it is worth examining these possible causes and experimenting with various configurations to find a solution.
